Inconsistency between AM Console and WA in setting permissions for creating a new object. WA - Object security is overridden by roles (the user does not need the "Asset Manager" role to create an object, only the "Create Any Object" permission in that part of the tree).

The cause is a bug in ALVAO products.

Opraveno ve verzi 11.1.1096 - 11.1 (release 2023-04-13)

Náhradní řešení

If you want the user to be able to create objects in the AM Console, add the "Asset Manager" role. If you don't want the user to create new objects on the WA, remove the object security.

Kroky pro reprodukci tohoto chování

Settings:
- The user has only the role of "Asset Management Reader".
- Object security is enabled.
- The user has the right to create objects in some part of the asset tree

Result:
- The user cannot create an object in the AM Console (because he does not have the "Asset Manager" role)
- User can create an object in the web application
