Object organizational structure

This feature automatically creates and updates the organizational structure (i.e., the object tree) on the Objects page according to the MS Entra ID user information.

This feature is part of the ALVAO Asset Management Autopilot module in versions 26.1 and 26.2. Starting from version 26.3, no additional extension module is required.

You can turn the feature on or off using the Administration - Settings - Microsoft Entra ID - (select tenant) - Features - Build organizational structure option.

Object type hierarchy

By default, the following object type hierarchy is used to build the organizational structure:

• Organization
  • Department
    • User

You can modify the hierarchy as follows:

1. Go to Administration - Asset Management - Object templates.
2. Select the Organizations and people - Organizational structure folder.
3. Re-arrange the object types or add new ones.

You can use the following system object types:
