Implementing Power BI for SaaS

This page will guide you through the process of implementing Power BI in your SaaS environment:

1. Add the user to the Asset Management readers and Report readers group and grant them the Reader Service team role for all your services.

2. Go to the ALVAO Power BI template in AppSource, and click on the Get it now button.

3. After installing the app, open it and click on Connect your data.

4. In the Connect form, form keep the value https://reports.alvao.com and click Next Next.

5. In the next form, set the Authentication method to OAuth2.

6. Set the Privacy level – Organizational

7. Sign in with the account you have granted the roles to in steps above, and connect and wait for the data to refresh.

   note

   User must be a member of the Report readers group in Alvao.
