Data security

Data

ALVAO stores persistent customer data in an SQL database. For ALVAO SaaS, this is Azure SQL Database. For on-premises deployments, customers can use Azure SQL Database or Microsoft SQL Server. In ALVAO SaaS, each customer has a dedicated SQL database, so customer data is isolated from data belonging to other customers.

Temporary data, such as message attachment files, images embedded in messages, scan files, and similar items, is temporarily stored while being processed in an Azure Storage Account for ALVAO SaaS. For on-premises deployments, this data is typically stored on the server's local disk.
