Deployment

Technical requirements​

ALVAO SaaS​

  • ALVAO subscription including the ALVAO for Teams license

ALVAO on-premise​

  • The latest or immediately preceding release of ALVAO, e.g. a version x.y, or x.y-1 Patch. Older versions are not supported.
  • Microsoft Entra ID user authentication in ALVAO
  • Internet access to the Alvao REST API

Please contact ALVAO support before deploying this module in an on-premise ALVAO setup, as their assistance is required.

Installation​

  1. Get the application from the Microsoft AppSource or search for ALVAO in the Applications tab in Teams.
  2. The first time you run the add-in, log in using your Microsoft account (Microsoft Entra ID).

Company-wide deployment​

For bulk deployment of the ALVAO for Teams add-in across multiple computers in your company, see Use app setup policies to pin and install apps for users.

Customization​

You can set your custom app name, description and icon image. For more information see Use app customization to update branding of apps in your org store.
