User provisioning

Follow the Configure Alvao for automatic user provisioning procedure to import users from Microsoft Entra ID into Alvao. In the Step 2. Configure Alvao to support provisioning with Microsoft Entra ID please:

  1. For Tenant SCIM Endpoint URL, copy the url from the link: Tenant SCIM Endpoint URL.
  2. Generate a new secret token using the Generate secret token button.
  3. Provisioned users appear in Administration - Users.

We strongly recommend enforcing 2FA authentication in your Microsoft Entra tenant.

tip

If possible, please invite your onboarding consultant’s account as a guest to your Microsoft Entra ID and provision it as well.

Options:

  • Generate secret token - generate new secret token for Entra ID user provisioning.

  • User portraits from Microsoft Entra ID - provide consent to import user's portraits from Entra ID.

  • User presence - provide consent to displays an icon in user's avatar indicating the actual presence of the user. This feature corresponds with the same icon in the Microsoft Teams.

You can also provide consents later in Administration - Settings - Entra ID - Features.
