License Allocation

You can use this window to allocate licenses in the mass mode. When you open this window, the system will automatically select the most suitable free licenses available for all non-licensed products.
The Selected products table shows products from selected installations with no license allocated. Products with no license selected in the list on the right are marked with an exclamation mark.
The Please select a license to allocate table shows all available licenses for the product selected in the table on the left. User licenses are displayed only if the computer in the tree is located under specific user.

Options:

  • OK – assign all the selected licenses to the computer.

Selecting the most suitable license

  • free license item in the same cost center and license item has the same activation key as the detected product activation key
  • free license in the same cost center and license has the same activation key as the detected product activation key
  • free item without a cost center and license item has the same activation key as the detected product activation key
  • free license without a cost center and license has the same activation key as the detected product activation key
  • free license item in the same cost center (e.g. only the inventory number is entered)
  • free license in the same cost center
  • free item without a cost center
  • free license without a cost center
If no free license can be found (for example because only licenses from a different cost center are available), the application will select no license automatically, but will display any such license in the menu for you to assign it manually.
If you want to select a different license for a product, select the product in the table on the left and check the corresponding license in the table on the right.
