Settings Backup
The tab allows to back up or restore the settings of all the ALVAO programs you are using.
Options:
- Create backup of settings – create the logged user's personal settings backup.
- Restore settings from backup – restore the logged user's personal settings from the backup.
- Restore default settings – set the logged user's personal settings to the system default values. The operation cannot be undone.
User's personal settings contain the settings of tables in applications (views, order and widths of columns in tables, filters, ordering of records, grouping into trees). Every user can have only one backup of his/her personal settings.
Warning: Settings are backed up/restored together for all ALVAO applications. Not only for the application you are performing the backup/restore from. The settings are backed up or restored only for the currently logged user (not to everyone).
Note: The backup is saved to database in the same was as the personal settings are.
