ALVAO Add-On settings
- Service Desk Web Service
- URL – please specify a path to the Service Desk Web Service. The path usually has a form https://server/ServiceDeskwebservice/ServiceDeskWebService.asmx.
- Verification type
- Use Integrated Windows Authentication – an account of the user currently logged on the computer with ALVAO Outlook Add-in will be used for access to the Service Desk Web Service.
- Use the user name and password entered
- Username – enter a username for access to the Service Desk Web Service.
- Enter password – clicking the button opens the Password window where you enter the access password into.
- Displaying requests in MS Outlook – this option specifies, where in the MS Outlook window will the request from ALVAO Service Desk be displayed.
- Display request in taskbar – the request will be displayed in the taskbar, which can be pinned to any side of the Outlook main window, or alternatively, can be displayed as a floating window outside the Outlook main window.
- Hide automatically – the taskbar with request will always hide automatically, if the selected item doesn't contain the existing request tag.
- Display request in reading sub-window – the request will be displayed as a component of the reading sub-window.
- "Display request" Command – Display requests as – use the Display request command to select which application will the request be displayed in.

- Path to Service Desk Console – if you have the Service Desk Console application installed on your computer in a standard way, do not set nor change this field. If the application is not installed in a standard way, e.g. you run it form a shared drive, specify a path to the ServiceDesk.exe file which is to be run by the Display request command.
