Text
The tab allows to search the individual objects in the Asset Management by the text contained in their name.
- Text to find – select the text you want to find.
Tip: You can use the asterisk "*" character to replace any text string. The asterisk character replaces any number of any characters.
- Full text only – enable if you want to search only for exactly and only the text entered.
If this option is disabled, the application will automatically fill the "*" characters before and after the word you are searching for. Otherwise it searches the text exactly in a form in which it is filled in; the "*" character has the same function.
- Search – enable the areas you want to search in.
- Search in
- names of objects
- property values
- text of notes – Message field in the object logs for records of Note type.
- object log (object history, editing properties) – Message field in the object logs for these two Record kinds:
- Object history
- Information (records in a form '"V" property has been changed from "X" to "Y" or '"V" property has been deleted (original value "X")')
- special objects (recycle bin, object templates, disposed assets, ...)
Note: When searching in the object log for the Information Record kind, only the segments between quotation marks, i.e. "V", "X", "Y" are searched.
