Numeric sequence
The window allows to define a new numeric sequence. Last two options are displayed only if you selected the sequence for Property.
Options:
- Use this sequence – enable if you want to use the sequence for automatic generation of values.
- Sequence type – from the menu select whether the sequence generates values (selected below) of the vlastnosti objects, or the handover protocols document numbers (i.e. Print reports).
- Sequence name – please enter the numeric sequence name.
- Prefix – enter a text prefix that will be displayed before the number generated automatically.
- Next number – enter a number which will be used as a beginning for automatic numbering of the sequence. The number in the field will be taken into consideration in the given format (including nulls at the beginning); you can generate e.g. the following numbers: IC0001ALVAO, IC0002ALVAO, ... If the numeric value overflows, the length of the value increases by one character. This will corrupt the original formating: e.g. IC999ALVAO will be followed by IC1000ALVAO.
- Suffix – enter a text suffix that will be displayed behind the number generated automatically.
- Use this sequence to generate property values: – from the menu select the Property (Text type) which this sequence will be generating numbers for.
- For object kinds – enter one or more object kinds in the list. The sequence will then generate values of the selected property only for the selected object kinds. If you leave the list blank, the value of the selected property will be generated for all object kinds.
If you need to add a value to the list, select an object kind in the list on the right and click on the <<Add button. If the selected object kind is not yet contained in the list, it will be added to it. Adding the <all> item will remove all object kinds from the list (blank list applies on all the object kinds). If you need to remove the selected object kind from the list, click on the Remove button.
