On this page, ALVAO Service Desk requesters can search for information within Alvao and submit new tickets.

Options:

  • Search - use the search box at the top of the page to find information in Alvao or to start a chat with the AI agent included in the ALVAO User Success AI Agent module. You can also open the chat page by clicking the Ask Alvao icon at the end of the search box.

    When searching, simply enter exact words you want to find. The search is not sensitive to word order, letter case, or accents. You can also enter only the beginning of words. For example: print probl will find records containing the text Problem with printer ....

    With the semantic search feature (part of the ALVAO Service Desk Intelligence module), the application also recognizes synonyms.

    The following data records are searched:

    • News - searches the message title and text.
    • Knowledge - searches the title, annotation, article text, and attachment titles.
    • My tickets (tickets of which you are the requester) - searches the ticket title.
    • My assets - searches object names, object types, the Manufacturer, and the Model properties.
    • Services - searches the service name (including the path in the tree) and keywords. Click a service in the search results to submit a new ticket.
  • Services - on the left side, you will find a list of services to which you can submit your tickets. Click on a service and a ticket submission form will appear next to the list. Before submitting a ticket, read the service news and knowledge if available on the right side.

    Useful shortcuts and links to external pages may also appear in the service list.

  • My tickets - a list of tickets you have created.

  • News - a list of current news published by service teams.

  • My assets - a list of assets assigned to you.

  • Knowledge - knowledge that may help you resolve your issues.
