Object kind

The window allows to edit or create a new Object kind.

  • Object kind – enter the new object kind name.
  • Computer – enable this option if the kind is computer. This kind objects will have extended functionality: HW and SW detection, assigning SW licenses, etc.
    Warning:
    You can set this option only when creating the object kind; it cannot be changed later on.
    Note:
    Computer type objects are using the ALVAO Asset Management product license.
