Sorting Values
The values in tables can be sorted by one or more columns. If you click on the column header, the table content will be sorted by the values in that column. If you click on the column header again, the rows will be sorted in the opposite order. Follow the steps below to sort the table by multiple columns:
- Click on the header of the first column to sort the table values by.
- Press and hold the Ctrl or the Shift key and click on the headers of the remaining columns.
If you click on the header of a column that is already used for sorting and hold the Ctrl or the Shift key pressed, this column will be sorted in the opposite order. The header of the first column contains one larger arrow pointing up or down, based on whether the data are sorted in descending or ascending order. Two smaller arrows indicate the sorting order for the remaining columns.
