AM WA - Objects - Administrator can see hidden objects in the tree and in the search results

Symptoms

Object Templates or Samples are always visible for an administrator of AM or Asset Manager, if there are no permissions used for the Object Tree. Objects marked in AM Console as hidden are visible too.

Cause

There is no switch to show/hide hidden objects as in AM Console - View - Hidden objects. There is a mismatch in flags that are used for hidden objects in AM Console and Web App.

Solution

Fixed in release 11.2.1134 - 11.2 (2024-04-11)

Workaround

Objects can be hidden only in AM Console.

Steps to reproduce this behavior

Do not use permissions for the Object Tree in settings. Open AM Console and set some normal object as hidden. Display the object tree in Web App as an administrator. Object Templates and Samples are always visible. The hidden object is visible. Try to search the hidden object by name - it is visible too.
