AM - Object security - missing permissions for mobile phones

ALVAO Asset Management 11.1 and higher

Symptoms

If you had the Mobile phone user object kind defined in A11.0 and a permission was set on this object kind, this permission is not applied in A11.1 and cannot be modified.

Cause

The cause is a bug in ALVAO products.

Solution

Fixed in release 11.1.2039 - 11.1/SP1 (2023-09-14)

Workaround

Use the script from the attachment. The script will also set other non-valid records to the mobile phone kind. Other non-valid records may have been created by creating a new object kind, setting rights to that kind, and then deleting that object kind.
