WA: Popup windows - text cursor is not visible in chromium-based browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera)

Symptoms

In popup windows, the cursor is not displayed in text fields. Text can still be entered. This only happens in chromium-based browsers (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Opera). The issue is connected to chromium version 118 only.

Cause

The error is caused by a third-party manufacturer.

Solution

Fixed in release 11.1.2214 - 11.1/SP1 FIX7 (2023-12-07)

Workaround

Possible workarounds:

Upgrade your browser to the newest version.
When the popup window opens, click outside the window and then click back in.
Open commands in a new tab to avoid displaying them in a popup (e.g. by clicking the mouse wheel).
Temporarily use a different browser.
