MS Entra - User provisioning (SCIM) - Setting a user attribute to empty is not transferred to ALVAO

Symptoms

The previous value of user attribute remains set in ALVAO.

Cause

The cause is a behavior of MS Entra User provisioning. It does not support provisioning of null values. Support for this features is planned, for more information visit https://feedback.azure.com/d365community/idea/f718ebe2-c625-ec11-b6e6-000d3a4f0789.

Steps to reproduce this behavior

  1. Provision user to ALVAO
  2. Remove value of user's attribute in MS Entra (eg. Manager, Job title etc.)
