ALVAO Asset Management 10.0 and higher
Symptoms
Timeout error appears after changing property data type to Date or Float.
The old property is renamed and the new one is created.
Both properties:
- have the original type,
- are part of object templates and
- have their original values on the assets.
Cause
The cause is a bug in ALVAO products.
Solution
Fix planned for release 11.2/SP1 (2024-09-12)
Workaround
Run the SQL script from the Attachments section before changing the data type.
When the error already occured,
- remove the old property from all templates and objects and
- remove the old property definition.
