The tab serves to set the general settings of the ALVAO Service Desk system.

• ServiceDeskWebService (URL) – enter the URL address of the Web Service mainly providing the notifications for the request creation, solution, and resolution.
  Warning:

  Enter the WebService address including the specific file (servicedeskwebservice.asmx).
  Example: http://server/servicedeskwebservice/servicedeskwebservice.asmx.
• Write a request on behalf of user – default method of request submission – select a value which will be pre-filled as default in the Request submission method (can be filled in the form for recording the request) when the request is written manually. It is the manual recording if the operator records the request on behalf of the requester.
  Note:

  If you want the operator has to select the request submission method every time when he writes the request on behalf of the user, select the empty value.
  Note:

  When writing the request on behalf of the user using the ALVAO Call Center Connector module, the phone value is pre-filled regardless this settings.
• Text font in HTML – opens the dialog for selecting the text fonts in the HTML format. For more information please refer to Text font in HTML.
