Upgrade – Cyclic Links

This window will appear if you connect the database from version 8.0 or older (non-upgraded) and if there were cyclic links between licenses in this database in the Asset Management.
Cyclic links are listed in the window and for upgrading the database you must edit the links, so the cycles do not exist anymore.

Options:

• Retry – use for a new attempt to upgrade when you delete the cycles from the Asset Management.
  Tip:

  We recommend to back up the database after deleting the cycles.
• Replace links – use if you want to replace all the above mentioned cyclic links with the "Relates to" link only.
  
  Tip:

  We recommend to remove the cycles rather manually: for example, deleting one link instead of automatic replacement of all links in the cycle.
  All information about the direction of all the affected links will be lost by replacing it with the "Relates to" link.
• Cancel – select to keep the cyclic links and to not execute the upgrade. You won't be able to use the database with new versions of the ALVAO products.
