User Permissions

User permissions in ALVAO Asset Management can be managed at two levels:

Using user roles – see User management – Edit command – Member of tab;
Using object security in the tree.

Note:

Permissions can be applied to individual users, as well as to whole user groups.

Warning:

The affected user (or users) must restart the Asset Management Console or Service Desk Console after changing the permissions for services or administrator permissions, for the changes to take effect. (The changes take effect even without restarting in the SD Console, but after 6 hours).
There is no need to restart after changing SLA.
