Database Backup

Backing Up Detailed Data

Detailed user activity records (active windows and processes) are kept outside the database. Therefore, they need to be backed up separately.

1. Stop the Monitoring Server service.
2. Copy the %ProgramData%\ALC\ALVAO Monitoring Server\DetailedRecords folder to the backup media (e.g. C:\Backup).
   Tip:

   You can zip the entire detailed data backup folder to save space.
3. Run the Monitoring Server service.
