Request - Approving history - Requester manager is not displayed as approver when approved by his substitute

ALVAO Service Desk 11.0 and higher

Symptoms

The manager that was responsible for the approval and was out of office is not displayed in approving history in the Approver column. Only the substitute that made the approval is shown instead.

Cause

The cause is a bug in ALVAO products.

Solution

Fixed in release 11.0.1154 - 11.0/FIX2 (2022-06-02)

Workaround

Steps to reproduce this behavior

Start request approval using a schema with approval step "The requester's direct manager" or "The requester's top manager". The manager is out of office and has set his substitute. The substitute manager makes the approval.
