AM Agent: Scans - Computer found in Discarded assets - New computer with same hostname is not created

ALVAO Discovery Agent 11.0 and higher
Symptoms
AM Agent contacts REST API and checks if a scan should be delivered.
If system detects computer with the same hostname in discarded assets, scan can't be delivered.
The expected behavior is that a new computer is created instead.
Cause
The cause is a bug in ALVAO products.
Solution
Fix planned for release ALVAO 26.4 Patch (Q4 2026)
Workaround
Manually create a new computer with the same hostname.
Schedule a manual scan for this computer.
Steps to reproduce this behavior
The new computer or server has the same hostname as an object among the discarded assets.
The new computer does not exist among the active assets.
