ALVAO for Outlook (Desktop add-in) - Delayed sending of emails - When reading the "Outbox" folder, OA reads the message and stops sending it

ALVAO for Outlook 10.1 and higher

Symptoms

When reading individual items in the Outbox folder, the "Sent" attribute is changed to "Never". These mails are not sent by Outlook.

Cause

The cause is a bug in ALVAO products.

Workaround

  1. Open the email from the Outbox folder in a separate window.
  2. In Outlook, view another folder, such as Inbox.
  3. Resend the email from the first step using the Send button.

Steps to reproduce this behavior

  1. In Outlook, create a new email, set it to delayed send, and send it.
  2. Open the Outbox folder. Mark the message waiting to be sent.
  3. The message will have its "Sent" attribute changed to "Never" and will not be sent.
