Symptoms

Error while executing Applications: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Text.Encoding.CodePages, Version=7.0.0.0'

Cause

The cause is a bug in ALVAO products.

Solution

Upgrade from 11.1 to 11.2/FIX4 (2024-08-01) and later versions works correctly.
Upgrade from 11.2 RTM, FIX1-3 to 11.2 FIX4 and later versions still has this issue. Workaround mentioned below needs to be applied.

Workaround

Repair CA WS installation
or uninstall and install CA WS again
or add missing dlls from attachments to folder bin in the AlvaoCustomAppsWebService installation folder.

Steps to reproduce this behavior

Upgrade Alvao from 11.1 to 11.2.
