Assign license

Use this form to create a new or edit an existing software license assignment.

Options:

Computers or Users - select one or more objects to assign the license.
Activation key - enter the license activation key. For MSDN licenses, enter the MSDN ID number here.
Cost center - specify the cost center; otherwise, the license will be available for all cost centers.
Inventory number - optionally enter the inventory number of the license.
Notes - optionally add notes.

The fields Computers and Users are not required. You can create records with empty values as long as at least one of the other fields is filled in. A specific computer, or a user respectively, can be added later.

When editing more assignments at once, only the fields Cost center, Inventory number, Notes are available.
