Load users from LDAP

The window serves to set the user list loading using the LDAP.

Options:

  • LDAP path – specify a path to the Active Directory folder to load your User list from.

    Examples:

    Loading users from Active Directory on the SERVER1 server:
    LDAP://SERVER1

    Loading users from the entire domain company.com:
    LDAP://dc=company,dc=com

    The path is usually specified in the following format:
    LDAP://server_name/ou=organizational_unit,dc=domain,dc=parent_domain

    Tip:
    We recommend using free Active Directory Explorer utility (free download: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963907) from which you can copy the "distinquishedName" value for the selected Active Directory item.
  • Options – an option to use templates and attributes.
