User Groups

Each group can contain both single users and other groups. Both users and groups can be included in multiple other groups. (Please refer to Permissions for more information on how to use groups.) If you select Manage – Groups in the main window, you will display the group list. The list can be edited manually with common commands New, Edit, and Delete. The Group List is loaded over LDAP in the same way as User list. Please refer to Loading users from LDAP for more information.

The People reporting time group has a special meaning for Service Desk. Users in this group can report time and view the time reported by users working on other requests.
