When launching the Console, users need to use their user name and password to log in. Alternatively, you can also use the integrated windows logon. The name of the logged-in user is recorded in the database while performing various actions. It is recorded e.g. in all object history records and in the Installations register records.
You can use ALVAO Admin to define the user list, user groups and permission settings for the various parts of the system. Please refer to the subsequent chapters that are common for all ALVAO system components (ALVAO Asset Management, ALVAO Service Desk and ALVAO Monitoring). You can also set specific access permissions to various parts of the Objects tree. Please refer to Object Security for more information.
