Organization

The Organization List groups people based on their companies. This feature is only important if your Service Desk provides services to external clients from multiple companies.

The list of available organizations can be edited under Manage – Service Desk – Organizations. This will display a list you can edit with the common commands New organization, Edit, and Delete. If you attempt to delete an organization which contains any users, a window opens where you can move those users to a different organization.

The organization is assigned to a user in the user settings, see User List. Each person can be assigned no more than one organization.
