Computers

The window contains a list of computers monitored using the ALVAO Monitoring and allows to manage those computers.

Options:

  • Install
    • Agent – adding the computer using the Agent installed on another computer.
    • .NET – searching the file for adding the computer into the list.
    • Other... – searching the file for adding the computer into the list.
  • Add – adding the computer into the list.
  • Edit – editing the computer from the list.
  • Delete – deleting the computer selected from the list. The computers are not removed physically from the database – they are just hidden.
  • Diagnose – diagnostics using the agents of the selected computer.
  • Load from Active Directory – loading the computers using the LDAP logs.
  • Refresh – loads the current list from the database again.
  • Display deleted computers – displaying the computers removed in the past in the list.
  • Restore deleted – restoring the selected computers deleted in the past.
    To select the deleted computers you need to view them first.
Note:
Computers running Agent version 6.0 SP2 or later are added to this list automatically as soon as WebService receives data from them.
If you are monitoring any machines that are running an older Agent version, you need to add them manually to the list and enable the support for older Agent versions on the Server.
