Asset Management Global Settings – Detection

Global settings for detections in the ALVAO Asset Management system. You can edit this settings locally.

Options:

• Detections Global Settings
  • Set... – setting the extent and detection method.
• Keep only one valid detection per machine – enable if you do not want to create new requests for software and hardware detections of the computers.
  The last (newest) existing records will be used similarly as when calling the Detect again command.
  Tip:

  Enabling this option will prevent a large number of detections to queue for each machine.
  You will have exactly one, most recent hardware and software detection for each machine.
