ALVAO Admin

This chapter describes the windows and commands that appear on the screen while you are working with the ALVAO Admin application (further referred to as Admin).

Start

You can start Admin from the Start menu by selecting ALVAO – Admin.

Running ALVAO Admin For The First Time

If you are logging in for the first time, enter Admin as your login name and do not enter any password. You can also set the LDAP server and the default domain in ServerSetup and perform an import from Active Directory before the first login, which allows all the people imported from the AD to sign in.
As soon as you add at least one user into the Administrators group, only the users who are members of the Administrators, Managers or Software Profile Managers groups will be able to log in the application.

Main window

The main window will show a list of users, groups, services, SLAs, or organizations, depending on which command you use.
