Load Objects from Active Directory

The window allows to load objects from the Microsoft Active Directory (AD).

  • LDAP path – specify a path to the Active Directory folder to load your objects from.
  • Login
    • Use Integrated Windows Authentication – select this option if you want to sign in to the ActiveDirectory service under the user currently logged in to Windows.
    • Use name and password – select this option if you want to sign in to the service using your name and password, and fill in the data.
  • Load objects – enable the types of objects that you want to load:
    • Computer – AD class: computer,
    • User – AD class: user,
    • Organizational structure – AD class: organizationalUnit.
  • Search in – select the search depth in the AD tree:
    • in the specified path only – search for objects only in the specified path (folder),
    • including subfolders – search for objects in the specified path (folder) and all the subfolders.
