Object

The Object menu allows advanced work with the objects in ALVAO Asset Management.

Options:

  • Use function – use the sum function for the object selected in the tree.
  • Move – move the object selected in the tree or in the table.
  • Check for duplicities – checks the uniqueness of objects according the properties set as unique.
    Note:
    The unique property value must be unique (i.e. different for two different objects with this property). Typical unique property is the Inventory number.
  • Unify objects – unifying the objects according to the sample in the object templates.
  • Load XML – load the information about the objects from XML file. Data are loaded under the currently marked object in the tree.
    Note:
    If you loaded also the icons from the tree, you have to restart the Console to view them correctly.
  • Save as XML – save the information about the selected object and its subtree into xml type file.
  • Load from Active Directory – Load objects from Active Directory.
