View

The tab allows to set the view in the Asset Management Console program.

Options:

• Main window
  • Minimize to icon in the Windows Taskbar (next to the clock) – enable if the minimized program should appear only as an icon in the Windows Taskbar.
  • Minimize window after launch – enable if the program should start as minimized in the Taskbar.
• Software tab
  • View unassigned registry entries – enable if you want the Software tab in the Console main window to display detected records from the system registry which have not been associated with any product according to the software products library. These records provide information on whether or not the Software products library needs to be updated.
  • Display executed software – enable if you want the Software tab in the Console main window to display all the running software. They are application which can not be assigned to a specific product, and running products which are not installed on the computer properly. These records have a Running software value in the Record kind column.
• Objects tree
  • Show hidden objects – enable to display the hidden objects in the objects tree.
  Warning:

  The option is available only for the system administrators.
