Adding New Employee to Business Department / Sales Department
Follow the steps below to add a new employee to the tree.
- Go to the tree and browse to the Sales Department (Our Company Inc –
Business Department – Sales Department).
- Right-click on the Sales Department object and select New
object from the context menu.
- A window opens with the selection of sample objects. Go to the
Object templates tab and select the
item from the tree.
- Confirm the action date and time. You can edit the date if you are inserting
the employee ex post, for example if the employee started to work with your
company a few days or weeks ago.
- A new user will appear in the tree. Select the Properties
tab in the top-left corner of the screen, next to the objects tree. The top part
of this tab includes a list of properties and the object log.
- Double-click on the User property, enter the full name of the user, e.g.
"Ann Dickson", and press Enter to confirm the
change. Proceed to enter the office number and the personal number of the
employee.
Note: New devices and other assets can be added in the
Registry using a similar procedure as for new users. The only difference is that
you need to select a different template object, e.g. <Camera>, in the IT Assets
folder.
