Planning

The tab serves to set the schedule for detections and data evaluations.

Note:
If you want to run detection evaluations in other intervals than the detections (high SQL Server load), use the evaluation scheduling function.
The detection processing type on the Detection tab must be set to Detect and schedule evaluation.

Options:

  • Schedule for detections (network load)
    • Detect computers daily only in the following interval: – enable if the detections should be performed only in the given time interval.
      • __ - __ hours – enter the time in which the detections should be performed.
      • Exceptions (the schedule does not apply to the following days) – select the days in which the detections will be running the whole day (the detections schedule will not apply to them).
    Tip:
The detections schedule can limit the network load for example during working hours when it is usually necessary to use the full network capacity.
  • Schedule for evaluations and automatic detection loading (SQL Server load)
    • Evaluate detections daily only in the following interval: – enable if the detections evaluation should be performed only in the given time interval.
      • __ - __ hours – enter the time in which the evaluations should be performed.
      • Exceptions (the schedule does not apply to the following days) – select the days in which the evaluation will be running the whole day (the evaluation schedule will not apply to them).
    Tip:
The detection evaluation schedule can be used to limit the SQL Server load for example during working hours when employees access the databases on this SQL Server. Especially the detection evaluation is a demanding operation which can load the SQL Server considerably.
    Warning:
These settings also have effect on the automatic loading of detections.
