Edit

The menu contains the advanced functions for working with requests.

Options:

  • Request
    • Merge requests – used for merging two and more selected identical requests.
      Warning:
The Merge Requests operation cannot be undone.
      Tip:
You can find the request into which the original request has been merged by the original request number.
    • Take next request – taking the next request from the queue to be resolved.
      Note:
The request is taken based on the strategy the logged user has set in the SD Console, from the services on which the solver's user role is Solver with the privilege to remove the request (main). If there is no such user, the request will be taken from the services where the solver's user role is Solver with the privilege to remove the request (secondary).
    • Reopen – reopens the selected closed requests.
    • Forward request – forwards the entire selected request to another person in an e-mail message. The Service Desk will generate an e-mail message containing all records from the Request Log, including any attachments.
    • Return to operator – returns the selected requests to the operator.
      Note:
The solver can return a request to the operator; this concerns requests being solved by the solver or by a different solver
    • Receive notifications – enable this option to receive notifications of the selected request.
      Warning:
The option cannot be disabled if you are the requester of the selected request.
  • Edit
    • Edit – editing the request.
    • Delete – deleting the request.
      Note:
Deleted requests can be displayed using Deleted items in the View menu.
