Required items

The tab allows to specify the items which must be filled in before the process changes into the edited status.

All items defined in the request process are listed in these two lists:
The items which must be filled in before the process changes into the edited status are listed in the Required items list. The rest of items which can be filled in are listed in the Optional items list.

Options:

  • Add --> – move the selected items from the Optional items list to the Required items list.
  • <-- Remove – move the selected items from the Required items list to the Optional items list.
Note:
The Due date item cannot be set as required in the New status, because it cannot be entered by requester.
Note:
In cases when filling in required items cannot be forced, but a transition to other status is desirable, the required items are ignored. It is, for example, re-opening a request based an e-mail from requester, expiration of the time for approving, etc.
