Monitoring application health

To automatically check health status of Alvao, monitor the page /HealthStatus of the ALVAO WebApp, e.g., https://contoso.onalvao.com/Alvao/HealthCheck.

The page returns one of the following statuses:

• 204 (no content) – Alvao is OK. No errors were detected.
• 500 (internal server error) – An error was detected in at least one of the following components:
  • Alvao database - connection and read access rights are checked.
  • Custom Apps WebService - service responsiveness and its connection to the Alvao database are checked.
