We recommend to execute the data analyses and reports on the analytical database, which is a copy of the production database from previous day. This database is read-only. This ensures the ALVAO system performance is not slowed.

Set the analytical database connection in Admin – Manage – Settings – Data analysis tab. This connection will be preset for each workbook newly opened from SD Console – Display – Data analysis.

Tip:

If you backup the ALVAO production database every day, you can use this script to everyday update of the analytical database.
