Data Analysis

This form is used to set up a connection to the analytical database.

Options:

  • Use analytical database – enable this option if you want to use the analytical database for data analysis. Each newly created analytical workbook (see SD Console – Display – Data analysis, or AM Console – Tools – Data analysis) will be linked to this analytics database. If this option is off, the data analysis will be performed over the production database which may slow down the response of ALVAO applications in normal operation.
  • Server – enter the name of the SQL Server where the analytics database is located.
  • Database – enter the analytical database name.
