Detection

If a computer is selected in the tree in the main window, in the table there is the detections of its hardware and software list displayed. If other object is selected, in the table there is the HW and SW list of all its sub-objects of the computer type.

Options in the Detection tab context menu:

• Details – view details of the selected detection. Further, you can determine whether to display hardware details or software details.
• Compare with registry – compare the selected detection with the record in the Installations registry (for software) or with the records in the tree (for hardware), respectively.
  Warning:

  If an error occurred during the last detection, the Identifiable components window, enabling to set according to what should the computer be detected, opens (the components for detection can be set globally in the ALVAO Admin program).
• Find matching computer –
• Compare detections – view differences between two selected detections.
• Load from file – load a detection saved on the drive.
• Save to file – save the selected detection as a file on the drive.
• Table – the menu allows to customize the table. For example to create filters, views or display multiple rows.
• Find – search a text in the displayed table.
• Mark the computer in the tree – marks the computer, which the selected detection belongs to, in the tree.
