Edit
The Edit menu serves for working with the elements currently viewed in the main window.
Warning: The commands of the Edit menu open various windows in dependency to the current content of the main window.
You can view and manage users, groups, services, processes, SLA, organizations, or categories of requests in the main window.
Options:
- New – creating a new user, group, service, process, SLA, organization, or category of requests.
- Delete – deleting the record selected.
- Restore deleted – restoring the selected deleted users, services, SLA or organizations. To select the deleted items you need to enable the Display deleted items option in the View menu.
- Hide accounts – hiding the accounts of selected users. It automatically enables the Hide in menus option in the settings of selected people. Typically, auxiliary people are hidden in order to execute Loading users from Active Directory correctly.
- Restore hidden accounts – restoring the accounts of selected hidden users. It automatically disables the Hide in menus option in the settings of selected people.
- Set profile – setting the user profile by copying another user's profile settings.
- Set password – setting the user password.
- Set as Out of office (starting from ALVAO 10.0 SP1) – declaring the user absent.
- Delete portrait – deleting the person's portrait.
- Edit – editing the selected user, group, service, process, SLA, organization, or category of requests.
