The ALVAO system language must be selected during implementation. This is the language in which system values (such as the names of object properties, the names of system objects in the tree, the names of system processes, etc.) are displayed in applications. Each implementation must be assigned to exactly one language of the ALVAO system. For more information about using ALVAO in a multi-language environment, please refer to Multi-Language Environment.
The user interfaces of applications (e.g. command menus, dialog items, etc.) are displayed dynamically in the user's preferred language independently of the selected ALVAO system language. Language preferences can be set by individual users in the SD Console or WebApp. The system administrator can also set language preferences for individual users in Management of the ALVAO WebApp. If the user’s preferred language is not supported, the user interface will be displayed in English.
Note: Some diagnostic logs are in English only.
Note: Data such as object or request names are not translated and are displayed in their original language.
