You can use ALVAO Asset Management to perform analyses in MS Excel. The "Asset Management Analysis.xlsm" file with prepared contingency tables and a script for database connection is used for it. The first sheet in the workbook contains instructions for use.

The workbook can be opened from the Asset Management Console using the Data analysis command available in the main menu under Tools section. By this command you open the file in the "C:\Users\{User}\Documents\ALVAO\" folder. If the workbook is not present in the location, it will be restored from the installation folder.

We recommend to use the analytical database for data analysis.

Tip:

If you want to restore the original workbook you can simply delete the current file from the Documents\ALVAO folder. The workbook will be restored from the installation folder after next use of the Data analysis command.

Note:

The workbook copy is not upgraded after an upgrade to a new ALVAO version, therefore some sheets may cease to work. In this case, rename/delete the file in the Documents\ALVAO folder and create a new one using the Data analysis command.

Note:

"Asset Management Analysis.xlsm" file is located in the "{installation folder}\ALVAO\Asset Management Console\Asset Management Analysis.xlsm" folder after installation. We recommend you not to use nor delete this file directly, you should copy it and use this copied file instead.
