Ticket closure

After the ticket is resolved, the solver marks the ticket as closed by changing the status to Closed. This step is not necessary if the status Solved is set to automatically close the ticket in this case resolving the ticket will also change the status to Closed.

 The ticket cannot be closed in the following cases:

  • Ticket does not have mandatory fields filled in for the status Closed.
  • Solving process does not allow transition from the current ticket status to the Closed status. For more information about workflow settings, see Processes.
  • The ticket has its own workflow.
